RAWA PRAWNS FULL RECIPE

Ingredients
5-6 tiger prawns, shelled and deveined
1⁄2 cup semolina (Rawa)
1⁄4 cup rice flour
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
Juice of lemon
1 1⁄2 tablespoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1⁄2 teaspoon cumin (jeera) powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
Oil for deep-frying
Chaat masala for sprinkling
Method
1. Put prawns in a bowl. Add turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, mix well and let it rest for a while
2. After 5-10 minutes add chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and
ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and set aside to marinate for some time
3. Mix semolina, rice flour, salt, remaining chili powder, and coriander leaves on a plate.
Coat the prawns with this mixture.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a pan. Fry prawns till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
5. Garnish with coriander leaves, sprinkle chaat masala on top, and serve hot with green chutney.
