MUTTON BHUNA FULL RECIPE

Ingredients for Bhuna Gosht/Bhuna Mutton:

For the Bhuna Masala:
- Coriander seeds- 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds- 1⁄2 tablespoon
- Cinnamon- 1⁄2 inch
Cloves- 5-6
- Green cardamom-3-4
- Black peppercorns-8-10
Mace 1⁄2
Dry Red chillies 3-4
For Gravy
Mutton, small pieces with bones- 500 gms
Onions, finely sliced-2 medium
- Ginger garlic paste- 11⁄2 tablespoons
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
Oil 11⁄2 tablespoon
Curd 200 gram
Water as required
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Process:
- Heat refined oil in a pan
- Add the sliced onions & fry on medium heat for 10 mins till
Golden brown
- Now add the mutton pieces, mix and sear the mutton on medium heat for 5 mins by
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and turmeric powder mix and fry for 2-3 mins on low heat
Now add Mutton piece and let it simmer for 5 minutes
- add the salt and, mix it and cook it for few minutes on medium heat by adding splashes of
water. Fry till the mutton is browned and oil separate now add mutton bhuna masala and let
it cook for 10-15 minutes now add whisked curd and mix alternatively, continue to cook
covered in the pan for 45 mins till meat is tender.
- Your mutton bhuna is ready to serve.
