GAJAR KA HALWA FULL RECIPE

Preparation time: 10 minutes


Cooking time: 45 minutes-1 hour


Serves: 3-4


Course: Dessert


Ingredients:-

4 cups grated carrots

3⁄4 cup sugar

Pinch of Saffron

2-3 Green Cardamom pods, crushed

A tablespoon Ghee

10-12 Cashew nuts, Chopped

10-12 Almonds, Sliver

A tablespoon fresh cream

1⁄2 cup milk

1⁄2 cup Mava (you can use cream if you don’t have Mava)


Process:-


1 Heat ghee( clarified butter ) in pan and roast the dry fruits for 2-3 mins

2.Add grated carrots in the same pan and stir it for 20-30 min on low flame

3. Add sugar and let it cook till the sugar resolve n the mixture of carrots n sugar becomes dry


4. Add a tablespoon of ghee

5. Add milk and cook on slow flame till all the milk gets evaporated.

6. Now add grated Mava/khoya, dry fruits, saffron, and mix it well.


7. Cook for 4mins and switch off the flame. Serve hot or cold.
